On the subject of this most happy occasion, Billy Idol once said, "It's a nice day for a white wedding". He also said, "You see and feel, my sex attack, sing it, flesh, flesh for fantasy". Be that as it may, we rummaged around one of our East coast vaults, located in Oyster Bay and discovered these unmarked wedding snaps.

There's much to gaze at here; the well-to-do wedding party, portable TV, protective floor covering and of course, the vintage fashions. We're also quite taken with the striking bride and her big smile, despite not knowing who she is - which adds to the allure. Perhaps you recognize her? As for a wedding date, we're guessing circa 1964.

Finally, one has to wonder if the ancient 'cake-shoving' ritual was done here. I suspect it wasn't.
