1964-1965 NEW YORK WORLD'S FAIR /

"American Industry carries the Fair because it provides
the biggest, most widely advertised and exciting exhibits."

- Robert Moses, President, New York World's Fair Corporation, 1965

The Unisphere symbol of the New York World's Fair, will rise 140 feet above a 310-foot reflecting pool, with its land masses supported on an open grid of latitudes and longtitudes. It will dramatize the interrelation of the peoples of the world and their hopes for
'Peace Through Understanding'.

- Progress Report 1963
